Hey guys! My name is Dave and today I am going to walk you through the endangered species center in my home town.

There are many animals that are endangered. Different things can cause this. Environmental factors like habitats running out and human factors like people killing the animals.

It is up to us to fix the problems and help restore the population of the most endangered animals so they don't disappear forever!

Now I will walk you through some of the most endangered animals we have here at our facility. 

Amur Leopard 

These leopards have been critically  endangered since 1996. They are threatened by poaching, not enough prey, habitat loss,  and deforestation. There is said to be around 300 of these animals around today. Poachers hunt them for their spotted coat and they can sell it for lots of money. 

Black Rhino 

The black rhino population declined in the 20th century when European hunters started to hunt them. They are critically endangered and have a population of around 5,600 today. They live in different habitats like semi desert savannah, woodlands, forests, and wetlands.
