Ashley dreamt of her first day back to school. Only this year was going to be a little different.

When she woke up, she realized this school year is going to be virtual. Meaning, it will be harder to make friends at her new school.

When the class began, Mrs. Michelle quickly introduced Ashley to make her feel welcomed. Everyone seemed to like Ashley.

So many kids introduced themselves and wanted to be friends.

Online classes were going very well for the first few days. Ashley befriended the Smith twins and felt like she was starting to fit in. Then, the twins told her a secret. Two girls were making fun of her.

Tiffany: Omg did you see the new girl?

Britney: Yes! Did you see her weird shirt?

Tiffany: Yeah tell me about it. She has no style.

Britney: Right! She will never have any friends.

The twins showed Ashley the mean messages.

She thought, "Why are those girls making fun of me? What did I do wrong?" All Ashley wanted to do was to make friends. 

How can I ever go back to class? No one likes me.

Mrs. Michelle, she will make the bullying stop.

Ashley ran to her mom for help. This is her first time being bullied, she didn't know what to do.
