Hey, I'm Chip. I was a normal hamster until something strange changed my life, for the worse. OWNERS. Let's start with the beginning, I was in the middle of a giant underground tunnel, with all my family members. I was put up by my father to go get some food for the winter. "Chip, winter is coming, and we need food. We will run out of food in the first few days of winter. We need stacks and stacks of food. So much that the entire hamster family will never starve." My father said.  

Chapter 1

Soon, I was on my way to the local food center. Or as humans call it "Berry bush". I ran there and got some berries. I was fine until I heard a moving thing. I looked behind me and all I saw was a man with a cage and put me in it. I was stuffed into the moving thing. Humans call it a "Car”, but I don't know if their right about that. I would call it moving thing on tires. I was starving since I dropped my berries when I got stuffed. I heard the two men speaking and overheard this... " I bet this one would be a big hit. Everyone has been wanting hamsters these days," one of the men said. 

I didn't know what they were talking about when they said that everyone has been wanting hamsters. Anyways, the car stopped, and they brought me out. I heard loud horns and sirens. I was terrified. Soon I was put onto a shelf and then the man said, "We'll come back to you later little guy." I was scared, bored, pretty much every bad emotion. Did I mention that I was hungry, or am I going insane? Soon, a lady came and put me into an even bigger cage with the most beautiful thing known to hamster kind.... FOOD!!!

Yes, I did stuff my head into the food.... I was that hungry. Anyways, I saw another hamster. He was inside this spinney thingy. It spined around and around and around until the hamster came out. "Hey, guys it's the new guy" said the hamster, I still haven't got his name yet. I asked what his name was. "Hey, what's your name, I am Chip, what's your guy's names?" The hamster looked back to me "I am Alex, over there is Fred and over there is Blizzard." Alex said, "Hey Chip!" greeted Fred and Blizzard "Hey uhm, are you guys from that huge tunnel." I said, "I mean we all came from one of those tunnels." said Fred

"How long have you guys been here?" I spoke, "Alex and Fred have been here for four years, I have been here for 5." Blizzard said. "Man, 5 years of this DUMP" I said. " I wouldn't call it a dump." Alex said. "Well, isn't it boring not being in the wild?" I said, "Don't mention that word again!" ordered Alex 

Chapter 2

"Why" I asked. I did not understand why they despised the wild. "It is a very important rule inside this area." Alex demanded. "ALEX, BEHIND YOU!!!" I yelled. Alex was taken by a Woman and put him into a cage. "Here is your hamster little girl,” The woman said. "Yay!"  the girl squealed. "NO!" yelled Blizzard. "You can take him home now,” The woman said. "NO!" yelled Fred. "We have lost Alex," I could not let somebody take Alex, so.... I was on a mission to escape the cage and save Alex. I started to elbow the door. "Come on guys! We got to save Alex!" I spoke. We all elbowed the door, and I got out.

I ran down and sprinted for my life. "You can do this Chip!" yelled Blizzard. I gave him a thumbs up. I saw the girl go outside the pet shop, so I followed her. There was two paths, one to the left, and one to the right. I thought that she went to the right. So I headed down the right path. Then I saw a hoard of people come in front of the girl. I could not find her! And that leaves us where I am now. Running to find that little girl. I stopped inside a dumpster for food. There was no food, but I did find this paper and pen, so out of the dumpster I go. I started to keep on going until I saw the girl! But she was crossing the street. I ran behind her then a moving thing on tires scooped me up, I was UNDER THE MOVING THINGS ON TIRES. I got off and then there was even MORE moving THINGS ON TIRES!

I finally got off the streets, I went down the same way the girl went. I caught up to her and.... It was not the girl. I am completely lost now! LOST! What do I do now? "Meow?" What was that noise, I looked behind me.... CAT!!!!!! I ran for my life while there was a cat chasing me!  I ran so fast I looked like a shooting star. I managed to lose the cat, and I went into another alley.

Soon it was nighttime and I had nowhere to sleep. Conveniently there was a small bean bag in the dumpster.

I woke up the next morning to see this rat in the alley. "AY, you there, yes you! You're in my alley BUDDY! Get out or you will feel the wrath of Mr. Wat"The rat threatened. "Mr. what?" I said. "No, it's Mr. Wat." The rat corrected. "Mr. Rat?" I asked "NO MR. WAT" Mr. Wat responded. "Whatever, I'll get out of here and then we call it a day." I said "THEN GET OUTTA HERE" yelled Mr. Wat
