Dear readers,
I hope you enjoy this book that my kids wrote about their scariest adventure. This isn't a real story but my kids wrote this about their own experience.
Mr. Tree

About 9 million years ago, there was a planet in the Citri system. Their sun is about 20 billion years old and is called Citri. The planet full of life is known as faroot. This planet is like earth but faroot has a more complicated life than earth. On Faroot, the earth-like planet, There are over 10 times more citrus farms than earth because those creatures called eccoes rely on citruses. Their bodies need a vast amount of vitamin C so they can survive. The average eccoe needs about 5 times more Vitamin C than the average person. Their bodies might work a little differently, but they look exactly like humans.

I'm Faroot
In South Orange, a country in faroot, Farmer Tree was about to harvest the Oranges. He was a nice man and everybody liked him. He is most liked for his great attitudes when working but his biggest flaw was his terrible memory. Unlike other farmers, he likes to wear a tie even while working. He has bright brown eyes like his kids and is a very happy man. “Look Dad, our black jay wants to eat the blood oranges especially the big ones,” said Dowie, Tree’s 7-year old daughter, “ Can I feed it to him?”
“Not now sweetie, If I let you, then our family would lose $10 which was supposed to be for your magic science show,” explained Dad. They were very juicy and high in vitamin C. Normally, these types of oranges are very hard to grow, especially in South Orange. Because those oranges were rare, they were kind of expensive but most people say it’s worth it.
Dowie went back to her homework on citrus transformation, wondering if she could win the science magic show. Mr. Tree was so busy farming that he didn’t even notice that Dowie went to his lemon orchard to do her homework. Dowie always does her homework with the fresh smell of lemons. She says it helps her think but nobody really believes her. She was not one of the smart ones in school because was too shy to ask anybody for help. Her brother, Dewie, though was just the opposite. Dewie would even ask Dowie if she needed help but she would just ignore him. Dewie is one of the taller ones for his age and he’s always dressed in yellow shorts and a t-shirt, even in winter. Dowie likes to wear orange sport skirts and pink unicorn t-shirts, but Dowie likes to switch things up a bit. They are twins so when Dewie is done, he usually wants to tell the answer to Dowie, but she thinks that’s cheating. They are both very good at sports. Their mom once qualified to be in the olympics, so they both have their mom’s sport gene.
Dowie was stuck on a magic experiment and it didn’t go so well. She was supposed to transform into an orange while holding hands with Dewie. This was Dowie’s very first magic experiment so she wasn’t very sure about this. She asked Dewie if she could do something to him.
He agreed but was confused. She grabbed Dewie's hand and casted the spell that the book told her to do. They were both supposed to turn into an orange and turn right back into an eccoe in 10 seconds but they couldn’t turn back and Dewie was a grapefruit. “What in the world did you do?”asked Dewie, “And why am I a grapefruit? I already finished that magic assignment last week. You should have asked for help. Now we can’t turn back into an eccoe.” They couldn’t ask dad for help because of their size but they couldn’t do it themselves either. Dewie had an idea to ask Mr. Lemon(Mr. Tree’s college roommate) for help but they would have to travel to Lemon Island.
They rolled on to the plane, under the door and took the first class seat without being seen by anyone. When they peered through the window they saw the tropical islands of Lemon. “I feel like I’m in a dream,” thought Dowie, “The tall lemon trees, the clouds in the sky, and the sour beach. It’s exactly like the dream I had two nights ago except for being an orange .”

One hour later, the plane descended and the door was open. Mr. Lemon was waiting for some fruit to help but he was impatient and negative. He was already a bright yellow, fresh smelling lemon. Just like the ones that every eccoe likes to eat. “Why are you waiting for us Mr. Lemon?’ asked Dewie.
“I need help! Can’t you tell? Come on you kids! We’ve got a lot to do. Come, I’ll tell you,”Mr. Lemon said in a hurry.
“How did you know that we were going to come?”asked Dowie.
“I wasn’t even looking for you. I just decided to come to the airport and see who can help me. Thank goodness I found you guys. I probably would have to pay if it was some random stranger,”answered Mr. Lemon.
“Lucky we didn’t have to look all over for you. We were just planning to meet you since Dad once told us that you were a magic master. Turns out even you got stuck being a lemon.”
The three headed to Mr. Lemon’s house. Mr. Lemon forgot the key so they couldn’t get in. Instead, Mr. Lemon showed them his lemon house outside the yard. “Uhh, Mr. Lemon, how long is the tunnel entrance? I’m getting dizzy and scared.” said Dowie. They had to roll because they didn’t have legs so getting around places can be pretty hard. “We’re almost there.”yelled Mr. Lemon to be heard, “Watch out! There’s a ramp!” Crash! They landed right on Mr. Lemon’s lemon mobile in perfect position. “I did it! I finally measured the correct spot!” Mr. Lemon exclaimed.
“It’s a lemon mobile! You see, I’m not just a magic master but I’m also a master at turning myself into a lemon and back to an eccoe, but I lost my dust and my book of making dusts, so when I turned myself into a lemon I couldn’t go back. That was why I needed your help. At least, now we have the awesome lemon mobile. This baby can let you do anything an eccoe can, but you must know how to fly her or you're not going anywhere. It’s simple, just press the top button of the joystick and control it,” Mr.Lemon explained
“Let’s go buy a powder book now so you can help us turn back to an eccoe,”suggested Dowie
“Are you kidding? I built this for you so you can help me! I am the one that is most important here so no complaints! The most I’ll give you is a couple bucks. So there!”yelled Mr. Lemon as if he were their father.
Meanwhile, Mr. Tree was about to give out Mr. Red Orange when he noticed that only Mrs. Tree was in the house. When Mr. Tree saw Dowie and Dewie’s homework, He was so worried that he called emergency, his body was shaking, and his hands were all sweaty. They didn’t answer. Mr. Tree was a good friend of Mr. Lemon when they were young, but they didn’t talk together much after graduating so Mr. Tree never called Mr. Lemon again until now, Mr. Tree had no choice but to do so. Mr. Lemon didn’t answer when Mr. Tree called, so a feeling of despair came to thought.
Mr. Tree had to go to Lemon Island immediately! Meanwhile, Dowie and Dewie weren’t doing well. Mr. Lemon never worked with kids before so he knew nothing about kids. “I’m not helping you, alright. Help yourself,” thought Mr. Lemon.
“Please, Mr. Lemon, if we help each other, we might all be able to be back to normal,” said Dowie.
“ All right, whatever, Mr. Tree ain’t gonna be happy anyways,”said Mr. Lemon after thinking for a while.
“Okay, then what are we waiting for, let’s go to the chemistry store!”exclaimed Dewie.
“Hold your horses kids, we got to get my bills,” said Mr. Lemon. So when they took off, It took them 5 minutes to walk to walk 3 feet. They hadn’t realized how small they were. “I think we should take the rocket bus,”suggested Dewie.
“Why didn’t you say so before. Now we have to walk back to go get my flying chip. It’s way easier than the rocket bus and I didn’t bring enough money” yelled Mr. Lemon.
A few moments later, Mr. Tree was having trouble booking a flight. “ I said, I need a flight to Lemon Island,”yelled Mr. Tree.
“Can I get your name, phone number, email address, membership card number and your plan location?” asked the airport clerk.
“I won’t tell you again. My name is Leo Tiltile Tree. My phone number is 674-568-2182. My membership number is 48687146258 and my plan location is Lemon island in the city of Stemer. Do you have that on the form or do you want my Passport?” asked Mr. Tree, trying to be calm.
“Okay, it says that your Membership has expired, Mr. Leon,” said the clerk.
“Nooo! My name is Leo Tiltile Tree not Leon!” yelled Mr. Tree impatiently.
“Ohhh, I get it now. So you want to book a flight. In that case I will need your name, phone number, email address, membership card number and your plan location.”said the clerk. You see, this wasn’t the best clerk and Mr. Tree was her first customer so she wasn’t experienced at all.
“Oh forget it, either take my passport, or take me to another clerk,” said Mr. Tree annoyed.
“You have a passport?” asked the clerk surprised.
“Just, take me to another clerk,”demanded Mr. Tree.
“Alright, over there. The one that has a spotted tie is the only one open right now,” suggested the clerk.
“Thank you! ” replied Mr. Tree excitedly. After Mr. Tree got a flight ticket he headed straight to the plane and there stood the flight attendant dressed all blue and white carrying a lot of tickets. Mr. Tree couldn’t say a word to her because it was so hard booking a flight and he doesn’t want to get into trouble again. Instead, he just gave her the ticket, put away his luggage, and sat down worried about his kids.
Dowie, Dewie, and Mr. Lemon were still walking back to his house just to get the flying chip.
“ I’m tired,” said Dowie, wanting to sleep.
“Don’t stop now, we have a chip to get,” replied Mr. Lemon, “I promise It would be much easier with the flying chip. I wonder why I even programed a computer chip to walk,”replied Mr. Lemon
“Is that your house, Mr. Lemon?” asked Dewie excitedly.
“Yes! There’s the chip!” exclaimed Mr. Lemon. When they inserted the chip, they flew to the store very quickly. “ I told you it would pay off,” yelled Mr. Lemon.
“Yeah, this is pretty cool, but how do we pay?” asked Dewie
“ I forgot, but don’t complain, it took me a while to finish,” replied Mr. Lemon.
“What does the yellow button do?” asked Dowie.
“That makes us as big as an eccoe! You are a genius!” Mr. Lemon exclaimed. They bought the book and then left to buy the ingredients.
Unfortunately, they had to wait till the next morning to get the other ingredients. There were none in stock.
Mr. Tree just landed and he went straight to Mr. Lemon’s house, very worried. He usually doesn’t get as worried but this time he was really serious. There was sweat running down his face and his back was all sticky and wet. He was desperate when there wasn’t a peep while he was knocking on Mr. Lemon’s door. All he could do was to report lost children.
