The sun is almost ready to go down for the night but the air is still warm outside.

Carly and her family decide to go for an evening walk on a nature trail.

Soon, Carly meets a little caterpillar named Cadance and a bee named Colten.

They walk with her and tell her about how beautiful their trail is.

Cadance says they have many friends who live on the trail with them. Colten tells her some are big and some are small.

As she walks further down the trail she begins to see many different kinds of bugs.

She wonders why they seem to be helping each other when they are so different.

Cadance explains that they choose to work together to help each other live and grow.

"Sometimes some of us need help climbing a tree branch or getting food. When we work together, we can get more done and make friends." Said Cadance.

Is that why the ladybug is walking over to the spider? Asked Carly

"Yes!" Said Colten.
