There was the father Jesse, the mother Katie, the brother Mason, the sister Zoe, and of course the kindest one of all Layla.
In prehistoric times there was a family of cavemen who called themselves
The Russells.

They loved to bask in the sun and enjoy the nature surrounding them. It was paradise for them.

One day, The Russells noticed winter was coming and with that, the weather would turn from warm breezes to cold snow.
“We have to start migrating to find a new place to live where the sun still shines,” said Jesse.

“I don’t want to leave our home” Zoe sadly replied.
To comfort Zoe, Katie responded “We’ll come back when it’s warm again, but for now we must leave.” and went over to hug her.

The Russells packed their favorite things and went through the forest to find their new home.

As they walked they came to a fork in the road, the family sat and debated.

“We should definitely use the left path, there are more flowers around it meaning there could be more water” suggested Katie.
“No, no, we should go to the right path because there are more rocks and trees that we can use for shelter as night falls.” Mason retorted.

The Russell’s exclaimed their opinions like squawking birds, arguing back and forth, all except Layla.

As they bickered Layla saw a small bunny right off the path with a wounded foot. In the commotion, Layla snuck off and kneeled down at the bunny.
The bunny gave soft weeps as she examined him and noticed a thorn in his paw.
“May I help?” Layla softly asks, the bunny nods in trust.

Layla pulls the thorn out and wraps it up with leaves she finds nearby. As she does the bunny jumps for joy! 80 feet high!
The bunny floats back down and takes Layla by the hand, leading her back to her family.

The bunny points down the left path and smiles, Layla tugs at her fathers' clothes and points there too. The Russells stop arguing and agree to follow the bunny’s directions, they shake his hand as they travel on.

Layla stays back to ask the bunny, “Would you like to come with us?”

Then, rustling was heard further down the path and Layla sees the outlines of more bunnies that her new bunny friend looks eager to get to.

The bunny shakes his head no and smiles kindly, they say their goodbyes, and the bunny hops away.

The path chosen was home to roses, growing by the dozen, and the sun-kissed the ground.
The trees danced by the gentle breeze being given by a kind and warm Earth.

All of a sudden, the night hit fast, and with it came a harsh wind storm.

The children held close their parents in hopes of not being lost by a gust of wind, their parents charging further and further ever so slowly.

They teased the wind, the wind fought in return, with such force and aggression it threw them off, stumbling around for solid ground.

With direction lost and temperatures dropping, they scattered as they gathered their things and helped one another up.
In the hurry, they see a family of bunnies, the same from earlier.

over here!
The bunnies grab them by the hands and help them push through towards a grouping of trees.
