This Ramadan, Mona really wanted to do something special. So she decided to collect money for the poor.

She took a little plastic cup and wrote her name on it so that everyone would know it was hers.

She put her cup on her dressing table so that she could see it every day and remeber to put a coin in it.

So every day, after she came back from school, Mona would come straight to her cup and put a coin in it.

But soon Mona became a bit sad. The cup wasn't filling up fast enough and Ramadan was almost over!
