        Cary the Carrot meets Piggie and Gerald

Cary the Carrot was walking down the sidewalk when suddenly he saw something strange. 

"Who are you?" said the carrot.

I am getting my glasses on. I am keeping these on. 

"We are Piggie and Gerald. We just moved into the neighborhood. Would you want to be our new friend?"

                            Ch. 2

                Planning a Vacation

"Yes!" said Cary. "Piggie has been looking up vacation spots and really wants to go to San Francisco. Would you want to go see Chinatown, some trolley cars, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz?" asked Gerald. "Sure! Let's look up some flights."

They found some cheap flights and away they went!

They're enjoying the nice long flight. Piggie was really enjoying the peanuts. 

Cary the Carrot enjoyed the flight so much he fell asleep and was drooling all over himself.

Gerald was scared. He looked out the window and looked down. He was so scared. 

"Finally, we're here! Let's go to the beach!"

            Sandcastle Destruction

While Piggie and Gerald built a sandcastle, Cary the Carrot ran out to the ocean to surf, but...

    CRASH!

A big wave carried Cary the Carrot all the way up to the beach and he crashed straight into the sand castle.
