A story that is written down will never die, and in that, a part of you lives forever. ~ Mrs. Ferrell

One day in the hot, blazing, sunny desert, where dust swirled in the breeze. The air was filled with the smell of animals who haven't showered in months. Like any other day, there was no water to be found anywhere. The animals had to fly, walk, hop, and more.
“Guys this drought ain’t going well.” said one of the birds.
“Your right man, if we don’t find some water soon we're all gonna die!” said Raven, he had always been an over exaggerator. All they wanted to do was quench the gaping hole in their heart that forbade them from finding water during this bad time.

If we don't find any water were all gonna die!!!

Yeah this drought ain't going well!
That’s when a miracle happened, while Raven and some other birds were flying over the desert, they found a water hole! Not long after that, all the animals started going over there. One day when Kitten had been told about the waterhole, he decided to go and check it out and go for a drink… right as kitten got there, Raven swooped down and scared him.
“Hey man, you can’t be here!!” said Raven.
“I’m just coming for a drink dude!” Kitten replied.

You can't be here man!

I'm just coming for a drink dude.
Raven wasn’t happy that Kitten tried to come since he was the one that found it, and everybody went there without asking. Raven claimed he could choose who was able to come or not. He said Kitten was forbidden to ever come back to the waterhole.

Fine, I'm just thirsty and sad. :(
If you come back here, I'll do something way worse.
Raven then went on to his looks.. (If I hadn’t mentioned before Kitten only had one ear, and was quite a bit younger than all of them.) Raven said no one-eared freaks were able to hang out at his older kid's waterhole.
Raven had also made it known that if he saw Kitten there again he would rip his hair out. Kitten said that he was thirsty and it wasn’t fair that all the other animals were able to quench their thirst while all he was able to do was to sit in his hot, but somewhat cold (at night) cave that can get pitch dark, like the sky at night time.
Kitten was so sad to hear that he wasn’t able to go to the waterhole. But he decided that he probably wouldn’t want to go there anyway if raven was gonna be so mean and call him names. After a month or so, kitten decided it was time to try and visit it again since the bits of water he was able to find were starting to dry up. It felt like summer in spring!!
A few days later he showed up there, but, nobody was there… that's when Raven came swooping down..

I’m sorry, I’m sorry!! Please don’t hurt me!
HEY!! Didn’t I tell you you're not allowed to come here?!
