It is a HOT summer day at the amusement park!  All the boys and girls are waiting in line for the BIGGEST roller coaster in the park! 

All of the children are so excited to ride the big roller coaster!  However, there is one child in the back of the line who did not want to ride.  Her name is Nancy.

I'm excited!

I'm nervous.

Nancy grew more and more nervous as her and the other children waited in line for the ride.  Her mind started to spiral with negative thoughts to make things worse.

That ride looks way to big. I don't want to ride it at all.

What if the other kids make fun of me if I don't ride?

The children were approaching the front of the line.  Everyone was starting to cheer and smile.  Nancy however, was not.  She decided it was time to let her friends know she was not going to ride.

I DON'T WANT TO RIDE!

Nancy's friends reacted to the news, and made her feel better.

Thats okay Nancy! I understand!

Thats alright Nancy!  Maybe next time!
