In a dark corner of Montreal lived three girls: Cordelia, Everly and Sienna. They used to live in a small apartment. But one night, a tragic incident took place: There was a fire in the apartment! The building had to be immediatly evacuated.  

Since then, the three girls and

their parents have been

searching for a house.

One day, they came upon an enormous house with wooden floors and a wonderful structure. The house was also surrounded with beautiful trees and plants. "We must buy it!" screams Cordelia, enthusiastic at the prospect of living like a princess."It pains me to say this, but I agree with Cordelia; you won't have a better offer than this one daddy" Everly said."Come on dad it will be so much fun living in a mansion! Sienna said tugging her father's sleeve with hopeful eyes.The father sighed at the girl's behavior. "I must speak to your mother before making any decisions."But

 don't be too excited, the house seems very expensive." He added. The girls grunted, but agreed to their father's terms.  The sisters went their separate ways. A few days later, Cordelia who was drawing and Everly who was studying, heard their dad screaming very loudly.  Without thinking twice, the eldest and middle daughters ran to the kitchen. "What's wrong!" Everly asked , sweat curling down her forehead due to the running. She was not a talented athlete. "We heard you screaming!" Cordelia said stating the obvious.

Their father ignored them both and turned with a huge grin. "I have good news, the house we wanted isn't anyone's property, it is ours to keep!" The girls, elated by the news jumped up and down until Everly brings them back down to earth. "But daddy, aren't there any renovations to do?" Her father answered still cheerful. "Not to worry Everly, the mansion isn't as old as it seems. It will only take us a month to do the repairs.

Cordelia was now grining from ear to ear. "I must tell Sienna and my friends and everyone else! This is the best news ever!" And she ran away with her phone in her hand, leaving her father and

sister shaking their heads in amusement. The father turned to his middle born.  " I must go tell your mother" He said, and left. Ten minutes later, Cordelia returned to where her family gathered. She was still smiling. "Where have you been?" mom asked, seeming excited herself.

"Just telling my friends the good news that we are going to live in a mansion. Now I'm going to tell Sienna." The girl ran to her little sister's room. Just as Cordelia told her they were moving, Sienna started to pack. "Slow down" Cordelia said laughing. "There is still time before we move. " I know, but I love being prepared!" Sienna responded.  They heard their mom calling them down to eat.  

All the family talked about at lunch what was going to be the decoration of their bedrooms.

A month later, there was a family meeting.

"Your mother and I have decided that it was time to pack; the renovations are finished!" Their dad said. "I already packed!" Sienna said proudly, making Everly roll her eyes. Everyone started to put their stuff in the boxes and bags. On the thirteenth of July at 6 p.m a mover's truck showed up in front of the rented house. The parents put the furniture in the truck. When they finished, the family 

hopped in their car and followed 

the bus to the mansion. When

they arrived, Sienna pushed 

 open the door.

She immediatly started exploring the massive house with her sisters. "I call this room!"Sienna screamed. "In your dreams. I'm older and I called it before you." Everly said. "Fine I will take this room." Sienna said sadly. After they had all decided where they were going to sleep, the girls went downstairs to help their parents unload the truck. "It's heavy!" Sienna said panting. 

"Don't be a baby! You only have the pillows."

Cordelia teased. Sienna stuck out her tongue.  

A week later, everything was unpacked and at its place. After a peaceful dinner, they all did their chores and went to bed. While Sienna was reading, she heard a terryfing sound! She froze with fear. She ran to her sister's room to tell them what happened, but they just made fun of her. "You're just hallucinating" Everly said laughing. She went back to bed still afraid. At breakfeast, Everly was still mocking her. But late at night, there was the same sound, but it was louder and Everly and Cordelia heard it too!
