Jack likes his friend Robert, but his parents think he is a bad influence.

It's all because of that Rock-n-Roll music! The dancing is very bad and there's a lot of hip movement! And the lyrics are just as bad.

Jacks parents say that Robert and his family are beatniks, which means they have no respectability at all.

Jack, we trust you will be safe but his family is not respectable at all. We don't really like them but we won't stop you from hanging out with them.

Jacks dad is very strict, he works in a white collar job as an accountant. In his spare time he also helps people build computers.
