Conor loves to play outside with his imaginary friend named Bambi!

Outside Conor's house, the two love playing with toy trucks and trains. 

At school, Conor is smart and likes his teacher. 

But, he does not like to talk much because he is shy. 

On the playground, Conor watches the other kids play while he is with Bambi.  

Conor is too shy to play with the other students at recess and gets nervous talking to his classmates.

He does not have any sisters or brothers at home, so preschool is the only time for him to meet other kids.

Conor's mom worries that he is too shy and will not make friends at school.  

After school, Conor likes to go home and play with Bambi in his backyard. 

Why don't you play with the kids at school?

Because I have you, so I don't need new friends.

But wouldn't it be nice to have new friends?

I don't know, I am scared. Maybe it would. 

Bambi wants Conor to make new friends so he has them to play with at school.
