It was a cloudy day in Mobius. It was warm and quiet. In one hedgehog's opinion, too quiet.

Sonic: *pacing around the room* Is no one concerned that we haven't heard from Eggman in two weeks?

Shadow: *playing MarioKart against Silver* Do I look concerned?

Silver: *playing as Luigi* Honestly, shouldn't we be glad? We finally get a break from always having our lives threatened.

Sonic: *sighs* Maybe. But I miss the excitement. And I still say its too quiet.

Shadow: Whatever. I used to live with Robotnik. Knowing him, hes probably working on one of his stupid plans to take over the world and destroy us all. *playing as Yoshi, crashes into Luigi.*

Silver: *groans* oh come on! *to Sonic* Shadow's right.

Sonic: Well...

Shadow: Oh, stop being paranoid and play MarioKart with us. I need some competition. Silvers too easy to crush.

Silver: HEY!

Sonic: Alright. *grabs a wii remote and chooses Mario as his character* They really should have put us on here.

Shadow: Yeah. Then I wouldn't be stuck with a stupid dinosaur.

Silver: You could've been Peach.

Shadow: What? Are you kidding me?

Sonic: *sighs*

 Eggman's Lair:

Cubot: Have you seen the boss lately?

Orbot: No. He hasn't been outside of his lab lately.

Cubot: Weird.

Orbot: *shrugs*

Eggman: *suddenly bursts out of lab* I don't get it!

Orbot and Cubot: *jump* what?

Eggman: Since when do those three pincushions work so well together?! Ever since that one fight a few months ago, they've been working together like a well-oiled machine! Do you know how hard it is to stop a well oiled-machine?

Orbot and Cubot: uh...no?

Eggman: Neither do I! But what I do know is that they have gotten harder and harder to defeat! What is their secret?

Cubot: *gets an alert* uh..boss?

Eggman: Cubot, this better be important. You know the rules about interruptions while I'm ranting!

Cubot: Well boss, this explains why they work together so well...

Eggman: What is this? *reads the alert* Wait. They know?

How do they know? Who told them?!

Orbot: *shrugs* I guess they just found out boss.

Eggman: They weren't supposed to- wait a second. Wait a second! That gives me an idea!

Cubot: *mutters* uh oh

Eggman: What was that?

Cubot: *Nervously* I said great!

Eggman: mm...well anyway, the plan is simple. I kidnap two of them and lure the third one here! Then i kidnap that one and take over the world!

Orbot: Why not just kidnap all three?

Eggman: because that's not as fun! Don't question my evil plans.

Orbot: Yes, boss.

Eggman: We start tonight! *happily goes back into his lab*

Orbot: *looks at Cubot* Why do we work for him again?

Cubot: *shrugs* 

Back with the hedghogs:

Silver: Its getting late. We should turn in.

Shadow: I don't sleep.

Silver: Well we do.

Shadow: Whatever. *goes into his bedroom*

Sonic and Silver: *roll their eyes and go into their own bedrooms*

*later that night, at like 1:00*

Sonic and Silver: *fast asleep*

Orbot: *to Cubot* I cannot believe we're doing this.

Cubot: Me neither. *slowly creates a lazer net around Sonic while Orbot goes into Silver's room and does the same to him.*

Orbot: *trying to be quiet so as not to wake and alert them* Lets get out of here.

Cubot: *nods and they disappear into the night.*

*In the morning*

Shadow: *walks out of his room* Hey guys, get up already."

*no response*

Shadow: Guys? *looks in their rooms* What the heck? Where are they? *sees a note and reads it* oh you have got to be kidding me. *sighs and grabs his green chaos emerald* CHAOS CONTROL! *disappears*

Eggman's lair:

Eggman: Oh ho ho! This is amusing!

Sonic: *growling* Eggman I knew you were up to something!

Eggman: Actually, I didn't come up with this plan until yesterday.

Silver: Stupid power blocking cage!

Eggman: What, did you think after your many escapes I'd put you into a regular cage? Its called "learning from your mistakes."

Sonic: Once Shadow gets here, you're the one who's gonna learn something.

Cubot and Orbot: *under their breaths* Oooooh...

Eggman: Shut up. This is going exactly as planned.

Sonic: *under his breath to Silver* He obviously doesn't know Shadow.
