Yaşar Doğu İmam Hatip Secondary School
Konya/Turkey

Albert, Nancy, Susan, William, and Robert are five friends who are in the 5th grade of middle school and get along well with each other.
Albert is a tall, blond, blue-eyed, and highly intelligent boy.
Nancy has red hair, freckles, and red-rimmed glasses, and reads books all the time.
Susan is a thin, timid girl with long, black and curly hair, who grows all kinds of plants in her home garden.
William is a boy with black hair, white skin, who constantly wanders with a magnifying glass and loves nature.
Robert is a dark, oblique, short boy who constantly watches the stars on his balconies at night and wonders about space.
Although they all have different characteristics and interests, what they have in common is their interest in science and they are all members of the school's Science Club.
Returning home from school one day, Robert said to his friends, `` Let's meet at the exit of town tonight because tonight the comet Ikeya Seki will be very close to earth, let's observe together. ''
They said okay and left.
Chapter 2:
Elisa Saraiva and her students
Agrupamento de Escolas D. Maria II
Famalicao, Portugal
Before diner time, Nancy share an new idea with her friends on their whatsapp group:
- Friends, we could use our telescopes, the ones that we build for our eTwinning project, and use them to see the comet Ikeya Seki.
- Albert answer: its a fantastic idea. We could also take pictures and made and exibition in our school.
So, during that night, they meet at the exit of the town.
When the group meet toghether, Albert said:
- We must find a place with few ilumination.
- We need to find a place free of light pollution - said Nancy.
My science teacher tould us about the problemes that some species face because of that - claimed Susan.
Its true - said Albert. But for now, in order to have a good observation of the sky, we need to find a dark place.
- Yes we whant to get good pictures about the comet we must avoid light pollution.
The group walk for half an our untill they find a place far from the city center.

Chapter 3:
Beyhan Gözde KARABULUT and her students
Şehit Komiser Zeynep Sağır İHO
AMASYA/TURKEY
This place they found far from the city was far from the light pollution they wanted and will provide them with a clear observatin. They set up their tents, opened their chairs, then prepared their telescopes , binoculars and observation books to see the comet Ikeya Seki and waited. According to the calculations made, İkeya Seki could be clearly observed from their positon with in half hour. During this time, they ate the cookies they brought with them, while they had a deep conversation.
Albert began to dream that " I wish I was in a spacecraft that could see the comet Ikeya Seki more closely"
Nancy confirmed her friend, adding that we'd have seen the world from space.
Than Robert said " So if there was an asteroid that eas approaching to earth and big enough to theaten the earth, there would be measures we could take to prodect the earth"
It's scary to even think about such a posibility then there are no plants or animals left in the world, we must absolutly protect the Earth" Susan added
Chapter 4:
Alice Severi and her students
IISS Follonica
Follonica (GR)/ITALY
Nancy say: "How can we find trace of meteorites in the Earth?"
Albert : "I have never thought about it..."
Therefore all friends decide to search meteorites in the Earth.
Tomorrow they meet find an online database, Meteorical Society.
Nancy has the idea to build a magnetic stick to search meteorites.
"But where can we try to search?" say William.
Chapter 5:
Sümeyra Yaşar and her students
Yunus Emre Secondary School
Samsun/TURKEY
‘We can try to search anywhere. Because they fall all over the world.’ said Susan.
Robert added ‘I read in a book that the probability of deterioration is higher in humid areas. That's why we have to look for dry places like desert.’
Albert recalled some of the information he had learned in science lessons ‘We learned that a meteorite does not have a certain shape. There are no sharp corners.’
They were so excited. After observing the sky, their interest in meteorites increased even more. But none of them had ever seen a meteorite before.
They first decided to go to a museum and meet the meteorite.
Chapter 6:
Eleonora Burnete and her students
Secondary School Saint Andrew Mangalia, Romania
“Imagination is more important than knowledge.
”they were so eager to visit the museum that they woke up in the morning and at the opening they were in front of the museum
Amethyst is crystal in this photo
The museum currently has 16,500 samples in its patrimony: 12,500 minerals, 3,700 processed gems and over 200 meteorites. The permanent exhibition is organized in a space of 126 square meters and has a number of 8000 exhibits. They were delighted with amethyst because they knew it was a crystal with creative stimulating properties
Opal They decided to visit another museum for avdea and other meteorites
Chapter 7:
Sena Şimşek and her students
Beyhan Gençay Secondary School
Hatay/Turkey

The day after the museum visit, they go to one of the Dreamers Club teachers, Mr. Cooper. They wanted to tell Mr. Cooper about they activities over the past few days.
Nancy talked about of the night the comet was observed and that they took a photo of the comet. Albert then described the museum tour they went to to learn more about meteorites.

Other friends like Nancy and Albert also shared their excitement.
Later Susan: "Mr. Cooper, we want to exhibit the pictures we took at school. But we want to enrich the exhibition by doing other researches and activities." she said.
Wiiliam and Robert said: "Yes, as the Dreamers Club we worked hard this year and we want the result to be good."
The students were so excited to talk that it made Mr. Cooper very happy.

Chapter 8:
Aglaia Koutra and her students
Varvakeio Model Gymnasium
Athens/Greece
"You have done research about meteorites and comets. Now it's time to talk about asteroids" Mr. Cooper said.
"I have heard about them. They are rocky, airless remnants revolving around the sun between Mars and Jupiter", Susan said.
"They are leftovers from the formation of our solar system about 4.6 billion years ago", added Albert.

"I have searched the NASA website about the asteroids," said Nancy. "Look, my friends, these are asteroid tracks among the stars".
"Oh, it's such a wonderful view", said Robert. "I wish I could be there to put some stars in my hands! They look like diamonds."
"Oh, Robert, it would be so nice, but, also, very dangerous. An asteroid is capable of a global disaster. Did you know that dinosaurs became extinct after an asteroid hit on earth 65 million years ago?" said Mr. Coopers.
Chapter 9:
Burcu Bozbey and her students
Şehit Mehmet Şengül Secondary School
Tekirdağ/TÜRKEY
"Observatories were established to study changes and movements in the sky long before the telescope was invented.
Observatories established today consist of large buildings with one or more telescopes, workshops and study rooms. In addition, there are unmanned observatories in satellites orbiting the earth, "he said.
Chapter 10:
Aisheh Al Bashatwah and her students
Khadija Um AlMo'minin Secondary School
Irbid/JORDAN
That evening they told their family that they wanted to go to an observatory with Mr. Cooper. Their parents accepted this idea. The next day Dreamers Club members and Mr Cooper met. They set out to go to the "Andromeda Observatory", the nearest observatory. Their journey took a little longer because the Andromeda Observatory was located on a hill, far from the city. When they arrived, they were very surprised, because they had never seen such a structure before. Inside a large dome opening to the sky were very large telescopes.
