Once upon a time there was an enormous, beautiful house that sat on top of a humongous beanstalk. This is my home, and I am the terrifying giant that I am sure you have heard about in the past.

I live in this glorious house with my beautiful wife. The story most know about my relationship with Jack and the famous beanstalk is overrated and full of lies. My wife and I are actually extremely kindhearted people that had been taken advantage of by a young boy.

Unfortunately, as the story is told, the boy is the innocent victim and of course the huge, scary and intimidating giant is the villain. I am here to set the story straight. Let me tell you what actually happened.
It all started when I was outside growing corn that my world was turned upside down. When I came back from farming, there was a little boy eating food with my wife. This was a pleasant surprise, because we do not ever have guests.

Most people are afraid of giants and that makes it difficult to have friends. The boy seemed to enjoy our company, so we decided to play a game and have some fun after dinner. We started a game of hide and seek. My wife and I thought this would be a friendly, fun game.

Most people believe that my wife hid the boy from me, because he was in danger, and feared I was going to eat him. That was not what happened at all! I was not attempting to find the boy and eat him, but somehow that became the story that is still told to this day.
After we were done playing hide and seek, we were exhausted and decided to take a long nap. Later that afternoon, I woke up to find that the boy was gone. I did not mind. We figured that he may have needed to go home, so that his mom would not worry. I looked out the window to be sure that the boy was gone, and I noticed our gold, velvet money bag was laying open on the table. I decided to count my money.
I did this often, because we were saving for a new house that would be even bigger than this one. When I counted the coins, I realized that some money was missing. I looked everywhere, but it was obvious the riches were gone. I could not figure out what could have possibly happened.
The next day I was sad that I had lost some of my money, so I decided to eat my favorite eggs. These were not just some ordinary eggs; these eggs were made by a special chicken that only lays golden eggs. I loved these eggs, and thought a treat may help me feel better. As I was about to enjoy my treat, I heard a knock on the door. There was the boy, standing at our door.
