Our family is very poor, they couldn't afford to send us all to school, so only my older sister was chosen to study. I worked every day to look after the goats. I worked hard to help my family and allow my older sister to continue studying.

Then I started attending the Children's Club, where World Vision spoke about the importance of education, with the aim of bringing the message to all the parents of our village. At the Children's Club we talked about how important it is for children to go to school rather than work. With school, children can have a better future. World Vision gave us the material to study and so, finally, I too was able to start attending school with my sister.

3
At the World Vision Children's Club we can talk about the school, our future and we learn to make our voices heard. Here I realized that not only should I go to school, but that all children should go there. World Vision helped me understand this and I am now trying to help other children as well. I attend school and am studying only thanks to World Vision.

Without World Vision, I would have continued to work and stayed at home with my family. All children should have the opportunity to study and achieve good results, to make their parents proud. This is my dream and my hope for my village.
