Hi, my name is Chelsea and this is my story... 

Have you or anyone you know ever been bullied? 

Have you ever wanted to skip school? 

Well, that was completely how I felt all the time.

It got so bad that I wanted to change who I was and move away. 

I had the worst time making friends, and I always faked "sick" to try and get out of going to school. 

No matter what I tried my parents, always made me go. 

I was too scared to tell anyone that I was getting bullied, so I stayed quiet.

I did not have any friends.

I kept to myself all day, even during lunch and recess time. 

My teacher, Mrs. C, began to notice I was always alone and came up to me one day.

"Chelsea, what is wrong?" she asked?

I knew deep down she was concerned, but I tried to act like everything was fine.

I knew I could trust Mrs. C, but I was more scared of what the bully would do to me if they found out I told on them. 

Mrs. C simply told me if anything was ever wrong that I could trust her.

She also said if someone was making me feel uncomfortable, I could have a conference with her and the principal.

l decided after a lot of thinking that I would take Mrs. C up on her offer to go with her to the office.

My principal, Mr. T, knew something was wrong, and he listened to everything I had to say.

I started crying because I felt a  huge relief!

It was like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders.

They called my classmate, who was teasing me, up to the office to talk to them.

I was so nervous, but I knew I did the right thing!

After they finished talking to her, they called me back into the same room. 

To my surprise, she apologized and told me why she bullied everyone.

She felt alone and the only way she could get attention was to bully people.
