Cogi was a dog who belonged to a prince called Ash. Ash loved Cogi, and Cogi loved Ash more than anything in the world. Ash would always keep Cogi happy everywhere and every time.
One day, as Ash went to give Cogi his meal, he noticed he looked sad. "What's up?" he asked, patting Cogi. Cogi whined and pointed his nose at the window where there was a Dog Park.
"You want to go there?" asked Ash. Cogi whined again. "Okay" said Ash. "I'll ask Dad to take us there tommorow. What's your preferred time?" Cogi went to the whiteboard, got the chalk and wrote 2.
Cogi was a smart dog that actually knew how to read time. "2 o' clock you say? Well, okay." said Ash. " Now eat up your steak and look more cheerful." Cogi was certainly more cheerful. He was going to Dog Park!
Cogi looked around and pawed at the grass. It was soft. Good! he thought. I'll take naps under that apple tree. Cogi was not used to other dogs and played by himself with some chew toys.
A Poodle came up to him. "Are you new?" she asked. "Um, yes" said Cogi. "Then welcome to Dog Park! Why don't you go over to Maggie, and she'll give you a tour of the park."
said the poodle. Cogi trotted over to a Golden Retriever.
"Ooh! Are you new? I'll introduce you to the other dogs". said Maggie. The other dogs were friendly, all except one. "Presten, why don't you shake hands with Cogi?" said Martin, a big collie who was black and white.
Presten was a bulldog and was not easily pleased. In fact, nothing would please him other than his owner, Patrick. He huffed and turned away.
Cogi was surprised. Why should a dog be so huffy?
Cogi walked over. He suddenly noticed that the dog had a big thorn stuck in his foot. He talked to Maggie. "Does Presten travel?" Cogi asked, getting a sudden idea.
