Message from Dr. Patricia Saxon

     This book is an extension end-of-the-year project that my advanced language arts students completed.  It consists of two writing genres that the students completed during their sixth grade year.  The first section consists of an excerpt that was taken from each student's personal memoir.   The poetry section consists of the students' original poems that they chose to share.  

      The purpose of this project was to allow students to write creatively and to publish a collective literary anthology that they composed, edited, and arranged themselves.  As an educator, I am truly grateful  that I taught such creative, intelligent, and independent students.
