Chapter 1
It was a cool Saturday morning in Botanic Gardens. At the entrance of the Nassim Gate , there lay three beautiful kittens: one grey, one tabby, and one as black as night!
It was ten o'clock in the morning. Visitors were starting to pour into the gardens. Nobody noticed the kittens until a staff saw them at the Nassim Gate! She scooped them up and brought them back to the restaurant.

The staff member, Ava Jones, went to find her boss, Mr. Smith. When she found him, she said, " Mr. Smith, I found these three kittens at the Nassim Gate. What should we do?" Mr. Smith thought for a while and said," First, we should give them some milk and blankets. Secondly, we must find their mother if she is still in the garden. We will then decide what to do next."
Ava wrapped the kittens in soft blankets and gave them some warm milk.
" I will tell the other staff members to search for their mother. You should stay here and watch over the kittens" Mr. Smith assured Ava. Ava gave him a grateful look and turned back to feed the kittens.

The staffs looking for the mother cat searched high and low at every part of the garden. At last a staff found something at the Ginger Garden. There lay a female cat, but it was not moving nor breathing. Even though it was dead they decided to bring her back to the office.
When they put the dead cat on the floor, the kittens started meowing and nudging it. They were sure that she was the kitten's mother and had died while giving birth.

Chapter 2
After Ava's shift ended, she brought the kittens to the vet as Mr. Smith instructed her to do that.
The vet, Mrs. Garcia, checked their heartbeats and told Ava that the kittens were healthy. Moreover, the black and gray kitten were female. The tabby one was a male.
The Vet also informed her that the tabby kitten was the oldest and followed by the gray and the white one.

The following day, the staffs found a corner near the counter of the cafe. They set up an adoption corner and printed out a poster.
🌺
Adoption
Dear customers,
We have found three kittens yesterday! You can adopt the kitten with $70! ❤❤❤
If you are interested to adopt anyone of them, please approach the counter for more information. Thank You.
Sincerely,
Botanic Gardens Department

Also, they put some simple accessories on the kittens to make them look cuter!
Two days passed, but with no luck, nobody adopted the kittens, not even one!
"What should we do?! We've been trying to persuade the visitors, but not even one person wanted a kitten. Most of them said they were too expensive! Should we lower the price!" Emma Brown, Ava's best friend, asked Mr. Smith during a meeting. "Yes! We should lower the price to $50. We will see if it works, and we will discuss it again next Friday." Mr. Smith declared. The rest of the staff murmured in agreement.

Chapter 3
So a week passed. During another meeting, Mr. Smith asked," Are any of the kittens adopted yet?". One of the staff working at the cafe, Rhian Robinson, and stepped forward." No..." , Rhian said, hanging his head in dismay. " We can lower the price to S$47.00, but I doubt it will work." Said Mr. Smith, looking dubious.
Mr. Smith thought for a while and declared," Do any of you would like a kitten?" Everyone started murmuring, but after a few minutes, the noise finally quietened down.

There was a long silence before someone stepped forward, it was Ava!
Ava took a deep breath before saying," I would like one of the kittens! My home is big enough for a kitten! I also have still a empty room!"
Mr. Smith nodded his agreement and turned back to the crowd. " Anyone else?" Nobody stepped forward. Mr. Smith turned back to Ava, " Are you okay with three kittens?". Ava was delighted! She beamed and said," Mr. Smith, I would love to have three!"

Chapter 4
The next day, Ava was taking the kittens home! But first, she would need the know what to do to adopt stray cats. Ava googled online and found out what to do, so, Ava began taking notes on what to do.
This is what she wrote down:

1. Prepare Hiding Spots
Description:
If you've ever spent time with a cat, you know that they love tiny spaces. Whether it's an empty cardboard box or a spot between two pillows, a cat will wriggle their way into the opening.
Besides being super cute, having safe hiding spots for your new kitty is important for making them feel safe. "In addition to cat-proofing your home, plan to have a few quiet places for your new pet to 'hide' as it adjusts to its new environment,"

2. Have them Checked out by a Vet
Description:
If you're adopting a cat that's spent some time without a proper home and care, you probably have no idea what their medical history is or whether they have any current health issues.
"As soon as you’ve decided to take a cat in, The vet will be able to check for parasites like ear mites and fleas, which often affect cats who have been living without a home. Plus, if your new fur baby is suffering from a more serious illness, the sooner you get treatment for them, the better.
