     I think we can all say that after a year of teaching virtually and face to face students we have been introduced to more technology than ever before. The important thing is that we continue this education, because if we know anything technology is constantly changing. After being exposed to this additional class on digital technology I want to share the challenges and successes I have faced along the way.

In the library or the classroom we can use technology to build engagement, push our students to higher order thinking skills and provoke them to be ethical digital citizens. 

    Podcasts are one of the greatest tools to have students create content. I loved playing around with different podcast applications but I found podbean so simple, user friendly and cell phone friendly. I think using podbean we can grow our students voice and encourage creativity while challenging them to apply classroom content in a real world application.

I also highly enjoyed learning about game based learning, when researching new trends in educational technology. Game-based learning is a highly interactive, competitive approach to classroom design that increases student engagement and transitions learning from the teacher to student ownership.
