What are the 3 R's?
The principle of reducing waste, reusing, and recycling resources and products are often called the "3Rs." Recycling means the use of waste itself as a resource. The 3 R's is a good way to understand sustainability.
The 1st of the 3 R's - Reuse: -
Can you repair and reuse it? Even most disposable flatware can be washed and reused.
If you can't reuse it yourself, do you know someone else who can? There are many services (some online like freecycle) that will help match up people who no longer need or want things with people who could use them.
