The Lorax was walking in the forest one day. He walked and walked through the trees until he decided to say...

"I'll spread the word of how important reading is because too many animals do not know how to!!"

He travelled through the swamps to tell the frogs, but they didn't understand what he was saying. 

"This is why it is so important! It helps you listen, too!" And the Lorax left them with that knowledge.

Then he walked through a little town where he met a little bird. The Lorax talked with the bird, and she understood, but all she did was chirp.

"Reading also helps you communicate ideas well! It can help you and I talk to each other." And the Lorax left her with that information.

Then the Lorax went to the snowy mountains where he found a dog. When the Lorax told him about reading, the dog ran away to fetch a toy.

The Lorax went on to shake his head. "Reading will help you keep focused and concentrated! Animals get distracted too easily," he said as he chased after the dog.
