Once upon a time in a 

spooky forest lived 

Frankie who loved 

telling stories.

He would love to share 

his stories with all the 

children in the forest 

but they always ran 

away when he spoke.  

Even at Tallulah's sweet shop 

the best place to be in town 

they would all run away 

screaming from him.

At home Frankie was very sad 

that he couldn't go out to play.

Instead he reads his favorite 

books all about monsters, 

ghosts and aliens.

One day Billy the new boy 

came to the forest to share a 

story with Frankie. 

Frankie didn't like the story it 

wasn't like his stories at all!

Frankie decided to show Billy 

his book instead.

Billy didn't enjoy the story at 

all. He looked very frightened 

and asked Frankie shakily ' Is 

this story real? It is like my 

nightmares!' 

Frankie reassured him that his 

stories were just imagination 

and that he enjoyed thinking 

about spooky stuff.

Billy explained how the other 

children didn't like scary things 

because they gave them 

nightmares.
