The leader of Judaism is God. Another is Moses.

        Judaism follows the first part of the 

bible, also called the torah.

        The ten Commandments, were 

guild lines.

Beliefs/Influence of Beliefs

        Jews belive that the holy land of 

Canaan was given to them by God. 

They also belive that Moses led them 

out of slavery

Christanity

Leaders and Beginnings

Christanity begins were Judisam left off 

with the birth of Jesus Christ, son of 

God.

The leader of Catholicism is the Pope.

 Christians beleive in the bible, which is 

made up of the old and new testament. 

They also follow the ten 

commandments, which were delivered 

by Moses from God.

Beliefs

Christians Believe in life after death. They also 

believe that one day he will co,e back to judge 

the living and the dead.

Hinduism

Leaders and Beginnings

Hinduism embraces many different 

religions, and know one really knows 

when it began. Its leaders are brahmins, 

which are gurus who strive to be at 

peace with the world.

Holy Writings and Ideas

The Hindus believe in the 4 Verdas, as 

do Buddhists, Jainesits, and Sikhs. The 

Vedas contain hymns, incantations, and 

rituals from ancient India. Some ideas 

they have are Dharma, the moral 

balance of things, and Karma, what 

happens when you don't follow it.

Beliefs/Influences of Beliefs

Hindus believe in Samsara, more 

commonly known to us as reincarnation. 

They also believe one day they will be 

released from samsara, and become 

one with their god.

Buddhism

Leaders and Beginnings

The leader of Buddhism is the Dalai 

Lama. Buddha is considered to be the 

spiritual leader of Buddhism.

Holy Writings and Guidelines

Perhaps the most famous Buddhist 

writing is the Tibetan book of the dead. 

It describes the 46 day time of death 

and rebirth.
