"YAYYY!" Squeals Tina, "we are getting a dog! " "Yes, Tina", her mom says as Tina's older sister,  Katlyn, runs into the room. "What is it?" Before her mom could say a word, Tina screamed at the top of her lungs, "WE'RE GETTING A PUPPY!" "O.M.G! YAYYYY!", says Katlyn.

"But girls, don't get too excited, since you too can get the chance to get a puppy, I choose the name, and it is going to be Rex." said their mom." NO!" said the girls at the same time, "we don't like that name!" Their mom said, "Well, too bad! We already paid someone to pave it into a gold leaf collar. And NO! We are not going to ask for a refund!" The girls said, "Fine, at least it's not the worst.

"Rex will be here tomorrow." said their mom. "Ok." Said the girls as they disappeared into their rooms. They pretended to act like the dog was there in Tina's room. They practiced for 2 to 3 hours before going to bed. But the girls couldn't sleep. That's when they remembered, what type of dog was it? The two girls slept in Katlyn's room that night. They talked about what type of breed it was.

"Maybe a Great Dame," guessed Katlyn. Tina thought, "A great Dame is too big. How about a Golden Retriever? Katlyn said, "It will probably be a special breed, and it will probably come while we are at school, so we will find out after school tomorrow." " Okay," moaned Tina. After school, they rushed to the living room to see.

At first meet, Rex backed up into the corner. Tina whispered in a squeaky voice, "It's ok, we won't hurt you." Rex whimpered. "Give him some time, girls." said their mom. So the girls went to play outside with their friends Rachel and Crystal. Rachel and Crystal are neighbors and live a few blocks down, but their mom lets them walk over whenever they ask.
