Earth is the planet we live on. Unlike many other planets, Earth has water and land! Earth is the only planet that has people and animals living on it!

The earth is surrounded by planets, comets, astroids, and lots of stars. 

The Earth is the third planet from the sun. Mercury is the first planet, second is Venus, then is Earth, and the fourth planet is Mars. 

The asteroid belt orbits between Mars and the next planet, Jupiter. Asteroids are sometimes known as little planets and are made of rocky material. 

The last four planets are known as the Gas Giants because they are so big! The first gas giant is Jupiter, the second is Saturn, the third is Uranus, and the fourth is Neptune.
