BULLYING: it is deliberate ways that inflict social, emotional, physical and psychological harm to a child.

COMMUNITY VIOLENCE:

Examples of community violence include bullying, fights, gangs, shootings, war and terrorist attacks.

COMPLEX TRAUMA:

A child's exposure to multiple traumatic events such as abuse and neglect. They have long - term effects. And it disrupts a child's sense of self. Additionally, it interferes with a child's ability to develop a secure attachment. For a child to feel safe they need to develop a healthy physical and mental forms of development. This helps with a child feeling safe and creating stability.

DISASTERS:

Examples include: hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, wildfires, tsunamis and floods. Along with examples of extreme weather conditions that include winter blizzards, extreme heat and wind storms.

This refers to psychological and physiological responses of children and their families to pain and injury. They maybe serious illnesses, medical procedures, invasion, and frightening treatment experiences.
