Hello, my name is Little but you probably recognize me as an African forest elephant.
I live in the tropical forests of Central Africa with many animal friends like chimpanzees, leopards, and gray parrots.
I am the biggest mammal in the African rainforest.
I am considered a mammal because I am warm-blooded, have small hairs all over my body, I was not born from an egg and drank milk from my mother when I was a calf.
I like to run fast when I play with my friends.
Believe it or not, I can run up to 25 mph!

These are my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Little.
They can weigh up to 8,000 pounds each! That is about the same as 4 cars being stacked on top of one another.
I weigh around 195 pounds.
You can compare my weight to about thirteen bowling balls that weigh around 15 pounds each.
