The story begins the day before Christmas.

It started as a  normal vacation day, after breakfast 

I played in my room for a few hours, and then mom

asked me to help her with the preparations for Christmas Day.

While we were working in the kitchen, Dad came home 

with a big Christmas tree, and we all spent a few hours 

decorating it.

After eating lunch, I asked my dad to play with me, and we played a videogame together. Then, when I was going to the bathroom, I saw Santa's hat next to the fireplace and I put it in my backpack, and went to look for Santa.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find him, but suddenly, I saw Santa was stuck in my house's chimney! I helped him get out, and gave him his hat back. He told me that I will get extra presents next year, then he also said that he pretended to get stuck in the chimney, and that he put the hat next the fireplace so I would see it. As it turns out, it was a test of kindness.

The next day, it was Christmas day! 

I woke up and then got up to open my presents.

My first present was a skirt and a short shirt, my second present was another skirt but with a chain on the front of it, and the last present was a new pencil case.

Then I went to eat the sweets Mom had prepared. She had made some gingerbread men, Christmas log Cake(tort buturuga), hot chocolate with marshmallows, and a Christmas pudding for lunch. Dad brought the socks I put out for presents, and there were my favorite types of chocolate in there.

Then we went for a walk in the park, bought and ate some snacks,and then walked back home. We also followed one of our family traditions: my parents and I fill a jar of pennies each year until Christmas Eve, and then we give them to three people who need them most.

Back home, we ate the traditional Christmas meal together with the whole family, since my grandparents also came by for lunch. They also brought me gifts, which they said Santa left at their place for me.

After the family meal, we prepared to go to the Christmas Fair. My parents told me this is a new Fair, not like the one we usually go to every year. The difference is we have to drive to another city, so we'll arrive there just when the sun sets.
