Madam Nithiavani A/p Subramaniam, my Effective Communication In English lecturer, was really helpful in revising my tale.

After we finished our science project, I was watching my friend read a Malay novel beside me on her brown single bed. The novel's title sparked my curiosity, but I've never been excited about reading, especially a dense work with over 400 pages.
"How do you read a novel this long in three days? I'd have to read this for two weeks to finish it." I said.
"Once you start reading a novel, it'll be difficult to put it down for a time." Sara, my buddy, stated as she closed the novel and placed it on her nightstand.
Sara's teachers always praised her story-writing abilities, and she consistently received the top grades in my class.
"That is one of the advantages of reading fiction books," Sara explained to our classmates, who were astonished as to how she could have such a vivid imagination to write such a fantastic story.
Sara had made it obvious that one of her pastimes is reading fiction books.
Wattpad
Sara turned to face me, who was sitting beside her bed in a white wooden chair, and took her smartphone from the right pocket of her pants.
She showed me an app with a white W on an orange background that she has selected.
"Here try downloading this app on your phone. It comes in a variety of topic and genres, and you may even get novels with fewer chapters. You should try reading novels, it is very fun and relaxing." Sara remarked this while displaying the phone screen to show me the app's name, which was Wattpad.
“Thanks,” I whisper under my breath.
Well maybe I should try reading novels from this app rather than reading a thick and heavy novel, I thought. My reading skills were lacking, and my writing and spelling skills were far worse. I could not spell or read well no matter how hard I tried.
It was 5 p.m., and I needed to get home. My house was only a 5-minute walk away from Sara's, and while it wasn't large, it was extremely pleasant and ideal for our small family.
When I opened our front door, I was greeted by my father, who was seated in the living room with a cup of coffee on the table.
I rushed up the stairs to my room to take a bath, remembering to plug in my phone's charger.
