Cancer is a type of disease. It is caused by cells in your body growing very fast and spreading to different parts of your body. Different types of cancer only hurt a specific part of your body while some can hurt multiple different parts at once. Let's take a look at some different types of cancer.

The first type of cancer we will talk about is Lung Cancer. Lung Cancer is a type of cancer that forms in the lungs. Men and women can both have this type of cancer. The main cause of this kind of cancer is smoking. You may have a family member that smokes cigarettes or vapes. The smoke from these things can damage their lungs and make their chances of getting lung cancer larger than a person who does not smoke.

Some side effects of Lung Cancer is trouble breathing, coughing, and pain in the chest and ribs.
Next, we will talk about Breast Cancer. This cancer is commonly found in Women ages 45-60. However, there have been cases found in younger and older women than these ages. It can also be found in men but it is rare.
The main indicator for Breast Cancer is lumps in the breasts. This cancer can be treated with Chemotherapy, Radiation, and different types of surgeries.
The earlier this cancer is found the easier it is to treat.

Some side effects of Breast Cancer are headaches, fatigue, as well as heart and dental issues.

There are also cancers that everyone runs the risk of getting if not careful. An example of this is Skin Cancer. Skin Cancer is caused by being in the sun too long without the protection of sunblock. Getting a sunburn once or twice shouldn't hurt you but if exposed enough you could run the risk of getting Skin Cancer. You can get this cancer at any age. While it is treatable and curable it is very painful. The next time your parents tell you to use your sunscreen when you are outside don't argue with them. They are just trying to protect you from the sun!
Sometimes cancers can be hereditary. This means it can be passed onto you through your genes from past generations of your family. An example of hereditary cancer is Colon Cancer.
Colon Cancer is found in your colon and is very treatable. One way to prevent having colon cancer is taking care of your body by exercising, eating right, and not drinking alcohol or smoking.
