Once upon a time, in Japan, there was a nice family who lived by the most gorgeous cherry blossom garden. Sureiyā (the kid) grew up inspired to be like his father, Bushi. Sureiyā was the bravest boy; he was even braver than his samurai father, even though he was only 15. His family strictly believed in Shinto, but they still believed in the ancient legend, Akuma. Akuma was the fiercest dragon who had a grudge against the Cherry Blossom Garden. Nobody knew why.
“Never go out in the garden alone; he might be waiting,” his mother always said.
One day, Bushi was returning home from a mission when the dragon attacked him. Sadly, since the dragon had 3 heads and Bushi couldn't put up a good fight, he was killed.
A week later in autumn, the leaves turned brown and fell, and with one of the leaves fell a Jade ring.
“Well, what do we have here?” Sureiyā said walking in the garden. “Wow, I feel...powerful,” he said while putting on the ring.
Quickly he grabbed his sword, but something was different. He had powers. He could jump higher than the trees, move at the speed of light, and could use his sword as if he was a member of Ansatsu kyōdan (The league his dad was in).

Confused, Sureiyā took off the ring and everything was back to normal. He ran home to tell Hahaoya (His mother).
“You are just imagining, Sureiyā.” Hahaoya aspired, “Now come eat your eggs and rice!” Hahaoya scolded.
“I’m not hungry!” Sureiyā yelled back angrily. When he calmed down, Sureiyā decided to eat and go to sleep instead, and put the ring by his mini koi pond outside. Then, fell asleep reading The Tale of Genji.

After 3 months, Sureiyā was finally ready to face Akuma.
He stood out in the garden and yelled “I’M READY! COME OUT AND FACE ME!”.
When the dragon finally appeared, Sureiyā put on his ring and remembered who he was fighting for, his father. After over an hour of fighting, his mother came to check on him since he was usually never out there for that long. She saw he was fighting somebody, but not who he was fighting against. Only the person with the ring could see the dragon.
