night before the chess competition 

everyone was asleep but I was practicing chess. i really want to win this chess competition because the prize money is huge for a college student , but the only problem is diya my opponent she is a really good friend of mine , i will be sad if she lost the game but after all it is a game....

as everyone was asleep there was silence in the hostel room I was also just thinking about the competition , suddenly I heard some sound of knock on my room's door I got a bit scared to open the door but without giving it a second thought I just opened the door I was shocked to see Diya there , she was crying and she said '' Aarohi please help me i need to go to my home urgently there is an emergency can you please lend me some money .... 

I quickly gave her the money I had and told her to be safe. As she was leaving I asked her if she will be participating in the competition but she said no and left after that I went to sleep I was so sad for her and now I didn't had any excitement for the competition as she was not participating,

 I will be declared the  winner.

I reached to the compition center the next day but i was not able to belivee what my eyes saw . diya was standing there all dressed up i quickely ran to her and asked ''you-u-u here , she laughed and said ''you are so dumb , that was all a trap for you so that you cant be well prepared oh by the way how is this dress it is bought by your money '' she left after saying this .  

i was so furious because my own friend betrayed me , i got so nervous by the thought that i am not well prepared , and as the result to it i lost the 1 match , but then i made my mind that have to win at any cost   

i relaxed my self and gave my best and guess what i won.  by all this I realized that if we have confidence and  hope than we can get whatever we want to have
