Once there lived a little girl named Bella. Bella had the best summer ever. She played with all the neighborhood kids every single day. They swam, played on the playground, and even had sleepovers. She was having so much fun.

Summer was coming to an end and Bella's mom told her she would be going to first grade. Bella was not happy about this news. She was sad summer was ending and did not want to make new friends. She was worried that the other kids wouldn't like her.

"Guess what Bella, you're going to first grade!"
The night before her first day of school, Bella was very nervous. When Bella's mom came into her bedroom she noticed something was wrong.
"Why are you upset Bella?" asked Bella's mom.
"I'm just nervous about tomorrow" said Bella.
Bella's mom ensured her that she would do great and make lots of new friends.

"Why are you upset Bella?"
"I'm just nervous about tomorrow."
The next morning Bella was still worried but was beginning to feel excited about all the new people she would meet. She wondered who her teacher would be and if she would like her.

"Good morning."
"Good morning, mom."
When Bella arrived at school she met her teacher, Mrs.Ross. Mrs.Ross was so excited to meet Bella and was very nice.

"Hello class, my name is Mrs.Ross"
When it was time for recess Mrs.Ross took the kids outside to the playground. At first Bella didn't know what to do. She was all alone while the other kids were playing. She was too scared to ask any of them to play with her. But then a little girl walked up to her.
