The First Ever Book  of Quirky Poems

                                BELLA

  There was once a dog named "Bella",

  and she was a really very nice fella.

  I went to her house one day, 

  she barked and chased me away.

  Maybe I will go back on Sunday afternoon, 

because that is the time she'll be having a snooze. 

        THERE WAS A SNAKE IN MY SCHOOL

   Once a snake entered our school   

   and let me say he was not a fool.

   He came and sat down on a chair 

   and began to teach us how  to draw squares.

  Now many adults say snakes are scary, 

  but this one  was actually very caring.

  He took some children for a ride on his back 

but let's just say they never came back.  

                         MY BEST FRIEND JANE

My best friend called Jane,

Had always wanted to fly in a plane

but whenever she asked if she could go

her mother and father always said no.

So one night she snuck away to fly in a plane 

and to this day we have never seen her again.

My Best friend Jane,

who had always wanted to fly in a plane.

              MATH

Why do we learn math? 

Little Suzie once asked

Is it so we can fly a plane 

or teach it to a girl called Jane?

Is it to answer riddles

or to learn how to play the fiddle?

Is  it to drive a car?

i don't think you will get very far.

Or do we learn math just for fun

so that we can get work done?

Learning this subject is quite a task

so at the end of it all, I still have to ask...

WHY do we have to learn Math? 

                          IF i WAS A GIANT

If I was a giant,

I would touch the sky.

I could go up to space,

which is a very mysterious place.

I would jump and touch the moon

but would it be too soon?

I would walk across the oceans

and swim across the seas.

  I could do whatever I pleased.
  I would build a giant house,

  up, upon the clouds.

  I could make all the noise I wanted,

  It would be my choice.

  I could run away from home

  and I would live all alone.

  The only problem is;

 I don't know how to grow!

                                GOOD ADVICE

Do not keep a snake in your pocket,

do not keep an elephant in your shoe.

Do not keep a mosquito in your locket

and don't live with a ghost that goes boo!

Also, do not keep a giraffe in your fridge,

or put a lion in your car.

Do not let your monkey use your toothbrush, 

or let your leopard park the car.

Do not leave a hippo on your bed, 

or a gazelle in the garden shed.

All of this you should remember,

 to save you a lot of dread.
