Once upon a time in the desert there was a small village. In the village lived a little girl named Lillian who was always sweet and loyal and everyone loved her.

Woof Woof

One day her mother called her in the house and said, "your grandfather isn't feeling so well so could you take this soup to him." When the soup had cooled her mom put it in a basket. "Remember don't talk to any strangers," said mom.
"OK mom," said Lillian. And so she went.

Before long Lillian could not see her village any more. Suddenly a large coyote appeared. "Hello dear," said the coyote.
"Oh hello," said Lillian surprised. "Want to talk for a bit?" asked the coyote. "No thank you and mom said not to speak to any strangers," Lillian said.

But the coyote had such great manners. "But where are you going dear?" asked the coyote.
"On my way to see grandpa who lives in the pretty blue house on the other side of the desert. He's not feeling so well so I'm taking him some soup,"said Lillian. "What a sweet girl you are," he said. "No reason why I can't eat them both," he thought.

Soon they came across some desert marigolds. "Ooh desert marigolds are my grandfathers favorite flower," said Lillian.
"Why not pick a couple for him," said the coyote. While Lillian was picking a pretty bouquet the coyote hurried to grandpa's house.

Knock-Knock-Knock. "Who is it?" asked grandpa. "It is I your granddaughter," said the coyote in a high pitched voice. "Come in," said grandpa. "Surprise," said the coyote. Grandpa was furious having his football game interrupted.
"You made me miss a touchdown," said grandpa. With that Grandpa was gobbled right up. He did not even chew.
