It is Europe's tallest observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 visitors annually. It does not usually stop to take on passengers. The London Eye used to offer the highest public viewing point in London.
Buckingham Palace is one of the major tourist attractions in London. Buckingham Palace was built in 1703 for the Duke of Buckingham. Now it is the official residency of the British monarchy. Each time the royal family is in the palace, a flag flies on the roof.
