After school

It was a typical Monday morning and Sarah was Putting on her bag while her friend waited out the door. "Sarah! We're gonna be late!" shouted Crystal from the door. "COMING!" screamed Sarah. Sarah came out ready and walked to school with Crystal. "We'll meet afterschool! We can chat a little!" Sarah accepted and they reached class. They were in different sections so they cannot meet easily. During recess, Sarah went in search for Crystal. No matter what, Crystal was not found. Sarah was looking for her friend, but she remembered that Crystal said the word "AFTERSCHOOL" so that is. Sarah patiently waited through math and history classes.

Sarah waited for the bell at the last class. The bell rang. Sarah Packed her bags and said "BYE MA'AM!" Sarah fled and patiently waited outside the school at the place she and Crystal used to hang out. 2 hours later, still Crystal was not to be seen. A few girls walked up to that spot and asked: "Hey girl, What you waiting for?" Sarah looked up to them and said: "Oh! I have a friend named Crystal! She's supposed to be here by now.." the girls said: "HUH? CRYSTAL? girl, she's our section. She got missing at recess. She got kidnapped it seems." Sarah wheezed. "KIDNAPPED?" The girls walked away saying: "Stay cool girl!" Sarah was like: "COOL?!" Sarah sobbed her way home.

Her mom asked her why was she so late. Sarah told everything about Crystal missing. Her mom said it was not a big deal as they were going to move to a different city that was thousands of kilometers away from where they were living. A week later, they moved to a different city. Sarah also found it much better. They settled a school in there. In that school, four people share a desk. With Sarah, There were two boys and a girl. Immediately, a friendship grew.

Alan, Sarah, Alesha and Davis

The two boys were Alan & Davis and the girl was Alesha. They would always sit together in lunch and they called themselves, The Quad Squad. They'd even hang out afterschool and walk home together. It seems to be that their houses were next to each other. So they hangout everyday. Weekdays and Weekends. They  together discover new things. One day, Alan suddenly went missing. The group was worried and they were in big search of him. Sarah was worried if Alan was also kidnapped.

"ALAN! ALAN! WHERE ARE YOU??" the group was worried. They soon found him Working on a shed. It was as big as a mansion. He was Painting it Yellow and white and wrote in Big, Bold letters; "THE QUAD SQUAD. NO ENTRY" Alan looked at them and looked back at the shed and said: "This could be our HQ!"

Head Quarters?

"What's an HQ?" asked Davis Questionably. Alan, who was smart replied: "Head Quarters!"

Alesha stared at him. "Head Quarters? For us?" Alan silenced her. "Shh. No questions asked" Alan said furiously. Sarah asked "Bu-" Alan cut her off saying: "I SAID NO QUESTIONS ASKED!"

"just hop in". Everyone went inside and were so in awe. As everyone stared at the walls, lights, furniture.. Alan just said: "Shh.. See how good I am.." Davis whispered to Sarah "He has a big ball of ego" Alesha also whispered "Girl, he needs to drop that ego. you might not want to make him mad. He has a high temper" Sarah just smiled.

Alan was acting too proud, but he was kind. Davis just kept on murmuring "Headquarters" to let Alan know that he had an ego. Sarah's mom called her and she rushed off waving bye. Her mom said that there was good news. Sarah was getting a pet! she asked if the quad squad can come, and her mom allowed. Alan was wonderstruck seeing the pet shop.

Sarah's Pet

The quad squad in the shop, were so shocked and they complained on how cute the animals were. Sarah chose a 9 month old kitten and they went on. As they reached home, The rest of the quad squad bid Sarah goodbye as it was getting late. Sarah brought the kitten close to her eyes. As she did, The kitty glowed GOLD. Sarah just stared at the kitten as it purred around her mat.

Sarah had to take care of the pet as it was her responsibility. Sarah was not ready to take care of the pet but Her wonderful friends come to save the day, Awfully. Alesha's afraid, Alan wants it as a Lab Cat and Davis just scares the cat. Sarah was worried, But hopefully a week later it was settled. Alesha thought the cat was too cute, Alan want a Lab RAT & Davis quit his behavior. Sarah named the cat GOLDIE. However, One day the kitty was going bonkers for 5 days straight purring and tapping the window. Sarah looked at the kitty and said: "Not now, Goldie."  The kitten did the same over and over. She'd even point out to the FREE SPACE on the left of the house.

Sarah still never got what her kitten was indicating. Alan still convinced Sarah that the lab would fix it all. He'd do some experiments it seems. As Goldie went bonkers for 5 days, on the sixth Sarah was losing hopes. And that was until.....

Mythological Kitten

Alan finally convinced Sarah an experiment , Lab, Blood test, Hemoglobin extraction free Invention. It was an X - Ray pad which shows ABILITIES. It never works on humans. It works on other creatures. Alan proudly smiled and tested it. Alan scanned it to his lab computer. Alan got the results. He turned to the right seeing Alesha and to the left seeing Davis. Alan looked straight to Sarah and acted as if he didn't make it. Alan wrote the bones' specialty in a file. Alan kept it to his chest tightly. Seeing this, Sarah started biting her nails. Alan held it tighter  with 2 arms. Alesha got scared and Davis was raising one of his eyebrows.

Alan fixed his glasses. He looked down on his file and didn't look very proud. Alan finally opened his mouth saying: "I got a whole lot of information. Suit yourself." Davis thought he was just playing around but if he was, He would have got that proud smile. Unfortunately, Alan was NOT playing around. He had a serious look. This look would appear if something flopped, failed, had a bad turn or if he was unhappy with such things. Alan decided to finally say so. He started off so quickly. "thecatisshdsasddfgjhdfkshgf..."  Davis stopped him requesting him to slow down. Alan did as told. But the poor boy was still stammering. Sarah folded her arms raising her eyebrows. Alan finally said it fearlessly.

Alan said: "Goldie is M- M-..." Alesha beamed at him: "SAY IT ALAN" Alan got the courage. He said: "GOLDIE IS A MYTHOLOGICAL KITTEN! THE REASON HE WENT BONKERS IS BECAUSE..." Alan continued in a soft voice: "..he was indicating SOMETHING. Note the time he does so for 1 week straight. You'll know when you give me the reports." Alan looked at Sarah sternly. Sarah accepted. Sarah looked down at Goldie. Goldie widened her eyes and looked up to Sarah. Alan wheezed saying: "glad that's done"

Goldie was still going bonkers. Sarah recorded it for a week straight and got the results. Everyday, at 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, When a green and yellow TRUCK arrives. Alan snapped his fingers and screamed: "AHA! Goldie is indicating and expecting a new neighbor. A green and yellow truck is a Moving Truck!" Sarah rolled her eyes. 

"I bet you 20 dollars that what you said is not true." Alan boldly replied: "YOU BET!" Goldie started pointing on the window. Sarah followed and saw a house in the free space! Sarah handed the 20 dollars to Alan with a disappointed look. Alan said looking at Alesha: " GIRL I'M ALWAYS RIGHT! HAHA!" Alesha and Davis think that Alan should drop his ego.

The New Neighbor

A limo drifted to the place and a kid their age hopped out with a tuxedo and sunglasses. It was a he. His name was Nathan and looked pretty tough. Although, his entire school has been fussing on a boy named Nathan, and that would be Sarah's neighbor. The kids in the quad squad's class described him kind. The quad squad did a silent prayer at the same time together. His Britain accent was funny. " Top of the morning mate!" Nathan yelled out loud. Sarah looked left and right and never knew what to reply. She finally Replied: "TOP! yeah top, top. Haha top. MORNING MATE? yea top."  Nathan stared at her with a stupid look and just shrugged it off.

The next day, Sarah was so embarrassed. She actually LIKED Nathan. Sarah told Alesha and Alesha Spat out the coffee she was drinking onto Sarah's face. At that very moment, Nathan rang the doorbell. Sarah pushed Alesha out of the way saying: "TEA! TEA! TAKE THE TEA!" Sarah opened the door with a weird smile. Sure enough, Nathan was out in a TUXEDO. He had a messy, but CUTE hairstyle. Sarah couldn't breathe and she wheezed. Nathan took a cup of tea and asked: "You okay mate?" Sarah just stammered and replied: "YEA! uh.. YEA MATE !" Nathan felt weird seeing Sarah doing such a thing. Nathan drank the tea and respectfully bid goodbye.

Just as Nathan was about to leave, Goldie ran over Nathan. Nathan saw it and said: " Oh mate! nice breed you got there." Nathan knew the cat was special. His eyes filled with greed. Nathan walked out and took Goldie without Sarah knowing. As the door slammed shut, Sarah said: "Guy's cute. Right Goldie?" Sarah, however didn't find Goldie. "Goldie? GOLDIE?" Sarah called out hurriedly. Nathan, holding the cat to his shoulder said: "Now I'm going to call you MARMALADE!"

Goldie meowed in an unpleasant voice. "Oh SHUT IT!"

Nathan Argued.

Did Nathan Take it?

The next day, Alan recognized Nathan. Eventually, two years ago, Nathan had a fight with Alan which to this day, never ended! One day, Alan visited Sarah, and the same day, Nathan did. Alan stared at Nathan and said: "Well Well, If it isn't NATHAN JOSEPH!" Nathan laughed in evil. He replied: "Yes, It is me." Sarah went away to prepare some tea. Nathan told Alan: "Sarah, is partly in love with me. I'll RUIN your entire quad squad!"

Alan Smiled. "NOT SO FAST!" Just then, Sarah walked in with a cup of tea. "Anything Wrong here?" Sarah asked unknowingly.

The two boys looked at each other sternly, and said, "NO. NOT AT ALL" Just then, Nathan whispered to Alan. "Just Watch!" Nathan then, told out loud to Sarah, "Sarah, I know you like me. I want you to know, I love you too." 

"Really?" Sarah asked. Just at the moment, They got together. Nathan smiled an evil smile. Alan knew this was a trick, but kept quiet till Nathan left. Just as He did, Alan screamed to Sarah. "SARAH! It's a trick! He doesn't like you! He is trying to-" Sarah never believed him with her love eyes. She cut it off saying: "SHUT UP! you're just jealous." Alan ran to Alesha, She believed him as she and Davis overheard their conversation. Alan was confused. How could THEY hear them WHISPER.  Alesha smiled.

She said that she caught something fishy when Nathan left. She told Alan that Nathan was the one who stole the cat. Alesha, saw everything from the Kitchen. Soon, she figured out it was NATHAN "ADAMS" JOSEPH, the one Alan used to have a rival on. So, Alesha put a camera behind the couch, so that SHE can catch the proof. however, the camera is a "view once" so they cannot show Sarah. Alan asked Alesha: "What now?" Alesha, with a frown, replied: Nothing now, We are IN DANGER.
