This is the story of a puppy named Henry who got lost, but don’t worry, I promise it all works out in the end. 

Henry and his siblings were one month old when they first learned how to walk. His mom and dad were so excited that their puppies had finally made their first big accomplishment.

To celebrate, they decided to take the puppies on a walk to the pet store to pick out any treat they wanted. Henry was the youngest and smallest of all his siblings, so he was usually last in line.

As the family started on their journey to the pet store, the puppies saw all kinds of new things they had never seen before. They saw worms, grasshoppers, and flowers.

There was one thing, though, that really caught Henry’s eye. He saw a small bird sitting in a tree. Henry wondered how on earth that bird got up there. He thought maybe when he got old enough, he could walk all the way up a tree too.

Then, Henry witnessed the most amazing thing he had ever seen. The bird flew out of the tree and was flying through the air. Henry had never seen any animal fly before, after all, he was only one month old and just learned how to walk.

Henry was so intrigued by this bird flying through the air, and he started to follow it. He followed the bird over the hill, through the meadow, and down the river bank.

The bird flew over the mountain and Henry couldn’t see it anymore. He looked around and realized he was all alone. He couldn’t see his mom or dad or any of his siblings. Henry started to get really scared because he had never been by himself before. Henry had no idea where his family was or how to get back to them.

The sun was starting to set, and Henry knew it would get dark soon. He didn’t know what to do, so he hid under a bush and cried and cried until he was so tired that he fell asleep.

Henry woke up the next morning hoping that it was all just a dream, but when he opened his eyes, he was still all alone under the bush. He wasn’t as scared because it wasn’t dark anymore, but he still had no idea how to get back to his family. He thought to himself that maybe his mom and dad would be able to find him, so he decided to stay where he was and wait. Henry waited a long, long time, but his mom and dad never came. Henry started to worry that he would be lost forever.

Suddenly, a big bear walked out from the woods and started walking towards Henry. Henry was so scared of the bear because he thought it was coming to eat him, so he crawled back under the bush and hid.
