By the way- NO I'M NOT IN 4TH GRADE ANYMORE!!!! :)

I walked the halls namlessly wondering when the teacher would notice my absence. Maybe he'd never know, teachers are good that way. At least I would have my friends to count on, right? They always made sure I'd stay out of trouble...
Thats when I heard heavy panting and slow footsteps, when I turned a girl who was shorter than me leaned up against the locker. She peered at me through all the hair in her face.
"Oh, I thought I was alone." She smiled, she held her hand out, "I'm Ana."
I shook her hand slowly, "Bella."
Ana smiled at me again, "Do you know where math is?"
I nodded my head, she seemed different... and bright. She had a pink streak in her hair, and small white shoes. And her shirt was a light blue and her shorts. Her shoes seemed to be designed in a speacil way, maybe she made them. But I knew something would happen to Ana if she was left alone. I had a feeling she knew that to.
"Is something wrong, Bella?" Ana asked, she stopped to look at me her eyes wide with curiosity.
"N-no. I was just thinking about how you might need to stick with me and my friends." I said.
"Why?" Ana asked.
"Your a softie right? Softies aren't known to be popular here, you might have a 50-50 chance of surviving with us." I explained.
I grabbed her arm and pulled her into an empty classroom just as three shadows walked by. Signing with relief I let her arm droop to her side.
"You don't look okay." Ana said.
"I'm fine. Those brats...just- be careful" I said.
"I will." She promises. She turned the handle and left the room. My heart still beating quickly, and loudly told me to not worry. But, my brain knew I couldn't let a softie wiegh me down.
I grabbed the handle and went towards the STEM room. When I saw Ben, Trist, and Lisa. I walked over to them frowning.
"We stalled the whole class time for you to walk out of another classroom?!" Lisa asked shaking her hands in frustration.
"It's not my fault I ran into a softie!" I shouted. My voice cracked the slightest bit- they wouldn't have noticed.
"You ran into a softie?" Lisa, Ben, and Trist asked in unsion.
"Yes. Her name is Ana- she's one of the transfer students. Listen, I know you hate softies because were all tomboys and baddies but she can get really hurt." I explained, taking huge breaths, and then held it.
"Well, I guess that makes more sense than you just being a jerk..." Trist said shrugging.
The bell rang, "Oh, and besides- it's not like I really care about her."
I turned around to face Ana, tears formed in her eyes- and she ran. My eyes widened, my heart was breaking my lungs, and my brain was screaming- I swayed slowly.
My feet began to move from a slow pace to the fastest speed I could go, "Ana wait!"
