Our flight team here at Wysong Wings is excited to help you roam the country and hear about all of special things learned along the way.
Greetings Miss Cope's first graders, this is your captain speaking.

Attention all of my co-pilots, we have traveled south from New York City and arrived at our next location; The Capitol Building in Washington, DC. Let's explore and learn about our new location.
The Capitol Building is where Congress meets to write the laws for our country.
There are underground tunnels below the floor of the Capitol.
In the Capitol, there are 540 rooms and 658 windows!
Is there a building in our city of Lincoln that looks like the Capitol Building?

Whew, first grade we made it! I know that was an extremely long flight across the country from Washington, D.C all the way to Glacier National Park on the border of Montana and Canada. Now let's switch from our tourist walking shoes to hiking boots and adventure!

Did you know that Glacier National Park is often called the "Crown of the Continent"?
I said earlier that our new location is on the border of Montana and Canada...what do we know about Canada?
There are over 200 waterfalls within the Park!
260 different species of birds live in Glacier National Park! That is a lot of birds co-pilots!
Well, adventurers, that was a short flight compared to our last! Now it is time to pull out your sunglasses because you are in San Francisco, California.

People who live and visit San Francisco travel in a different type of car than we do. They travel in a cable car!
The Golden Gate Bridge is not actually gold. If we look at our picture, we can notice it is .
San Francisco is the 13th largest city in the United States.
A cool animal you can find lounging in our new location is an icon of the city, a California sea lion.
