Chapter one water

It aint that I meant to do it I just did it and I regretted it i'm sorry mother. Well you should be! Izzy callnorten was about eleven years old and she loved to look at the forbidden liquid called water. She was told no matter what don't go near the water izzy. Don't go near it Izzy. DON'T GO NEAR IT IZZY! But every time izzy went to the water she felt something she never felt on the ground.

The adults said that water destroyed everything and brought horrible things to the world. Izzy had searched and searched for books about water and why it was so dangerous, but she couldn't find anything on it. Izzy knew that she wouldn't ever be able to touch water only the robots could. Izzy lived in the city of tech there were four cities. The city of magic, the city of tech, the city of nachure, and the city of art.

Izzy wasn't paying any attention to what her mother was saying to her. Izzy was too focused on the creek running down the rocks like a beautiful painting being painted then her mother shouted IZZY are you even paying attention to me and what i'm saying yes of course I am mother than what did I just I..I.I um don't know... I knew it well this is the last straw i'm sending you to Hoksban no not Hoksban I whine please anything but Hoksban!

Hoksban was said to be a school for people who wanted to go to the other cities, but Izzy knew what it really was for it was for keeping people like izzy out of the way to keep them away from the city of tech. Izzy said why can't you just accept me for who I am why can't I like water why are people so freaked out about it Izzy's mother froze and whipped around quickly you can't talk about the forbidden liquid here Izzy water ruined the world that's why only the robots touch it. But we drink it that doesn't matter now go to your room Izzy. 

Izzy stormed up to her room and slammed the door behind her Izzy ran to her pillow and screamed into it. You know you don't have to be so upset Izzy. Izzy shot up and looked around her room. In the corner there was a small wolf cub sitting down wh...who are you? I'm Al and i'm from the magic city but you called me hear I herd distress so I came quickly. You can go back to your city muttered Izzy. I'm just so upset I cant touch water and I have to go to this awful boarding school. You know its not bad to be with water in the other cities. Than he crouched down and said if you always keep the door shut than you'll never know what's on the other side, and with that the wolf disappeared.

Chapter two Hoksban

Izzy looked sadly out the lacts window and her mother said you know a hundred years ago they didn't have lacts they didn't even have flying cars till the 3051 the lacts was invented in the early 5010 the lacts looked like a airplane the a hoverboard on the bottom Izzy saw kids playing old fashion hoof which was a very popular game in the 4030 Izzy knew that her new "school" would be like a prison.

When Izzy and her mother arrived at the boarding school it looked like an old tattered and bettan up building. It was a grayish tan with a hint of once yellow paint. Izzy gazed at the fence it had doors not just any doors it was the doors the to the other cities. She remembered what the wolf from the magic city had said "if you always keep the door shut than you'll never know what's on the other side. Izzy started to to wonder what could he have meant by that?

As Izzy walked through the doors of her new school she saw her other classmates looking cheerful and happy! Izzy couldn't imagine how they could all be so excited about this awful school. When Izzy took her seat in her chair she saw her teacher walk into the classroom. She had dark  brown curly hair and wore a bright purple dress with cute cat pants, and she had a kind expression with gray blue eyes. She looked right at Izzy and said hello Izzy welcome to Hoksban!

For the record I don't want to be here and I don't know how any of the students in this class could be happy here either. Her teacher gave a mischievous grin and said we tell the government that we do what they want us to do, but that's not actually what we do here. We actually take you to the other cities and teach you about them, and there are no rules about being with water there.

Chapter three the city of art

Hello hello class today we will be going to the learning center now I want people to be going anywhere and everywhere you want without any one with you. The only thing is be kind to everyone they might lend you a hand in the end now go on in. Before Izzy went in her teacher stopped her and said I think you should go somewhere else her teacher winked and pointed at the door to the city of art, and smiled go on have fun be back by five.

Izzy stepped cautiously through the door and said that felt weird! Izzy opened her eyes and looked around her. She saw paint splattering down everywhere! There was painting of paintings. Izzy felt the ground around her it was wet and slippery like the paint the was flowing everywhere. The first thing Izzy saw was a fox jumping around. It had paint colored fur, and had a playful expression in her eyes.

When the fox saw Izzy it squeaked and ran behinde a tall blue building. Except it wasn't a building it was a giant model with paint everywhere on it! The last thing izzy heard was crank crank snap! Izzy looked behind the fake building and saw the foxes foot was caught in a net. The fox struggled and tried to get free. Izzy knew what she had to do. Izzy slowly and carefully bent down next to the fox and took the fox trap off the foxes foot.

The fox squeaked again and took off its necklace and handed it to Izzy. It was a purple opal it had a word scratched in the back of it the word was heal. Then Izzy noticed an even smaller carving on the front and it said Izzy. Izzy took the necklace and placed it on herself. Then the fox took her to a workshop. It had paint splattered everywhere Izzy slowly opened the door, and the fox noded to a blank canvas with paint next to it.

Izzy picked up the paintbrush and thought about what she would make then she knew what it was. She painted up and down side to side with much enthusiasm! When Izzy was done she looked at what she had created. Perfect she said in a satisfied tone! Then she set down the paintbrush and held it up for the fox the see. It was a beautiful picture of a wolf made of stars and water. The wolf was howling at the moon, and its reflection shown amazingly in the water.

After Izzy had shown the fox the fox brought to  the door she had came from and licked her hand. The foxes tongue tickled and it felt like sandpaper. When Izzy looked at her hand again it looked different. It had a purple heart with flames and it and in the middle was a wolf howling at the moon. Izzy remembered when her grandmother had been teaching her about the four cities. Her grandmother taught her if you get a lick or a small kiss on the cheek from someone important they will lend you a life boon a life boon meant they would be willing to give their life to save yours!

Chapter four The city of nachure 

When Izzy got back from the art city her teacher said did you like it? Did you get to learn why in the tech city we feel this way about water? I loved it exclaimed Izzy but no I didn't find out anything about water. Well then said her teacher we just to get you to the nachure city! Her teacher smiled winked and said but not right now right now it's time for bed.

When Izzy went into her new dorm room she heard the familiar voice of the wolf cub she had made friends with earlier he said well do you hate this "awful school" he said no said Izzy I actually really like it here the wolf said I can't wait for you to come to my kingdom then he jumped up and said till then adiós and with that the wolf disappeared into the air Izzy layed down on her soft pillow and fell asleep.

Izzy dreamed of paint and water and tech, and then she thought of her mother. Her mother would be sending her a letter to see how she was doing wouldn't she? Then beep beep beep Izzy's alarm clock rang out loudly, and Izzy woke up Izzy! Izzy was ready for school she yawned quietly, and then got out of bed and ran to class. The teach walked in and said today class we will be exploring the art city. Now I don't want anyone being alone while we're there so I have student chaperones coming. Thank you class now to the portals. Izzy went over to the nachure door and right before she went in her teacher said wait one thing you might need this her teacher handed her a library card. Izzy walked through the door happy and confused.
