Hi. I am Rover. I like sleeping on my owner's bed (he doesn't know I'm here, so SHH). DING. DING. Oh, no. Somebody has made that sound I don't like. I am racing to the giant wooden thing, but Mr. Owner is already there.

"Quiet, Rover!" He is shouting. I do not realize I am making the sound I make when The Sound happens. Mr. Owner is opening the big wooden thing. 

Two people are walking in. HOW DARE THEY??

This is MY house. Wait. I know them! They are named Mr. Owner's friends. Only that's too long for me to think, so I'll call them Friend 1 and Friend 2.

Friend 1 scratches me behind my Things That Prick Up When I Hear The Sound. Ahh. That feels nice. Friend 2 ignores me like usual. Mr. Owner is leading them into the Room That Has Good Smells. I will follow them. The Room That Has Good Smells is the best.

"Thank you for inviting us to dinner, Richard," says Friend 2. Who is Richard?? I do not know. Anyway, Mr. Owner is giving them...wait for it...STEAK! I go crawl under the table. Maybe Friend 1 will drop something.
