We live in earth. Earth is in the solar system, and that's in the universe. But do you know there are more planets in the solar system and universe. The first planet in the solar system is mercury. Its very hot, its the 1st closest planet to the sun in the solar system. No one would ever land there!

The second planet in the solar system is Venus. Its the first hottest in the solar system. It caries acid storms. Its also the same size earth, Venus still being the 2nd planet from the sun. It has acid puddles, river and rain. No one could land on Venus because its too hot and you would melt once you reach the atmosphere!

Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun. Its where we live. Its where animals, plants, and humans live. Its covered mostly with water and little land, not too little thought. it has clouds for rain, snow, and thunder storms.  It is also very warm, and has only one moon!

Mars is the 4th planet from the sun, you can also say red planet. They sometimes call it that because the land of the planet is mostly red. Mars is very cold. You can freeze there! It has too moons, or should I say asteroids! Those two moons are actually asteroids that got stuck from the magnetic force from the planet. Mars mostly contains dust that rocks and other minerals there. I think mars should take a bath!

Jupiter is a gas giant. A gas giant is a planet that is all gas but still with a core. A core is something in the planet that holds the planet together. Jupiter is very big. It has several storms, but non is like this storm. This storm is a hurricane and is so large it can fit 3 earths! Can you imagine that! Jupiter has 79 moons. One of them is larger than mercury!
