    We are looking forward to the arrival of spring. Because the environment is becoming more beautiful, the flowering of the trees is like the chirping of birds. It is as if a magical hand touches nature. Also, our national holiday Novruz begins. We have beautiful traditions on this holiday. The arrival of spring makes people smile and makes people happy.

        On Novruz day, I attend a kite festival with my family. Children fly kites, parents prepare meal and everybody has a picnic all together. 

     On that day, my mom Zeynep makes salad and my dad Hakan makes barbecue. While our parents are busy with preparations, my sister Deniz and me get bored and decide to fly a kite. We run as fast as we can to fly our kite higher and higher. We run through the picnic area. As we are running, I stumble on something...

...and nearly fall down. I look down and get really surprised. It is an empty bottle of juice. I call out my sister Deniz. She is also really surprised and showing the other side of picnic area. It is full of empty boxes, a lot of plastic bags, a few plastic cups and some papers. 'We should do something. Shall we collect all of them?' says Deniz and we go back to get some plastic bags to collect all the rubbish in the picnic area. We collect, collect and collect until we see a factory.

        Black smoke is coming out of the factory.It shocks Deniz and me.We watch the black smoke for a while.We look at each other with hopeless eyes.We don't know what to do. After a few minutes, we decide to go to near our parents and talk about the pollution.They notice our shocked and excitement . Then they ask''What happened?''We tell about the factory and it's bad, black smoke.My mom and dad also become upset.We start to talk about what we can do about the pollution and to protect the environment?

My father says: -We must do something. We must stop this pollution.Raindrops start to fall. Our picnic finishes.We come back home.The next day, I meet my friends in the school’s  garden. I'm sad and tell everything about picnic and factory's smoke. My classmate Beren says:

 -We must warn the people around us. First we can make posters. We think, it is a great idea.We prepare posters. we don't hear the bell. Our teacher comes to near us and asks:

-What are you doing?

        Beren answers and tells how sorry and worried we are because of pollution.Teacher is also sad , we tell our ideas about poster.She says that she can help us and inform other students.

        After school, we get together in the school library and decide what to write on poster.

    Beren suggests to write ''use filters on factory chimneys''
