Conch is a sea snail that is found around the island. The meat can make yummy conch fritters and conch salad. The shell can be used to make jewelry. 

Exuma consists of a chain of cays which are small islands.  Boats are a popular mode of transportation used to travel from island to island and to catch fish. 

Coral reefs can be found underwater on the island of Exuma. Different sea animals such as fish, lobster and even stingrays can be found around the coral reefs. 

Natives make straw baskets and other items to sell as souvenirs to visitors. This tradition is practiced throughout the islands of the Bahamas.

Sharks can be found in the beautiful waters surrounding The Exuma Cays. You can snorkel, dive or swim with the sharks!

Junkanoo is a parade of vibrant music, energetic dance and beautiful costumes held on Boxing Day and New Year's Day throughout the islands.

Natives use instruments such as cowbells, goatskin drums, whistles and horns to create music.
