Newton's First Law of Motion states that an object 

that is at rest will remain at rest, and an object 

that is moving will continue to move in a straight 

line with constant speed,if and only if the net force 

acting on the object is zero.

This means that objects have the tendency to 

resist changes in its motion and keep doing 

what it is doing. Thus way this law is 

sometimes referred to as the Law of Inertia.

Newton's Second Law of Motion states that the 

acceleration of a body is directly proportional 

to the net force on it and inversely proportional 

to its mass.

This law gives an exact relationship between 

force, mass and acceleration. 

Mathematically: a = Fnet / m

This law states that the heavier an object is 

the more force is needed to move it. 

This law states that the two forces in an 

interactive pair act on different objects and are 

equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.

Basically it means that for every action there is 

an opposite and equal re-action.
