Once Upon a Time there were two people named Lily and Ben.  They were in love, but they couldn’t be together. Ben lived with his mother and they were poor. Ben and his mother lived in a small hut.  Lily lived with her father in a big mansion. Lily’s father wouldn't let Lily be with Ben because Ben was poor.

Everyday Lily and Ben would  sneak and see each other. They would hide behind a rose bush in the park that smelled like cotton candy and talk.

 Ben said,’’ My love, when will we be together?”

Lily said,” I  do not know my love.’’

Ben said,” I will wait for you when the time comes.” 

Lily said,'' Okay

When Lily got home she saw  her dad was sitting in his chair reading his newspaper.

Lily’s dad said,’’ Where have you been? I've been worried about  you.”

Lily lied and said,’’ I been at the park with my friends.’’

 Lily’s dad said,’’Okay’’ Lily said,’’ I need to talk with you about something.’’ Lily’s dad put his newspaper down and listened to Lily. 

Lily said,’’I lied  I was not at the park with my friends. I was at the  park with Ben.’’ 

Lily’s dad said,'' You are not supposed to be with him’’ as he yelled.
